Your existing hardware must be of sufficient specifications to run Windows XP/Vista/7 or newer. If any of your existing computers, that are going to utilize DesertMicro software, do not have a sufficient Windows operating system, call us to schedule an operating system upgrade installation prior to your software installation date. Check the minimum specifications for hardware to run the DesertMicro application. Remember that there are also recommended specifications of hardware listed that we strongly suggest you use. Provide us the contact person and phone number of your computer vendor so that we may discuss the specifications and request that they be on-site the morning of the installation. All workstations, whether on a network or not, must have a 10/100 mps Ethernet Network Card installed on the computer. PetrolManager does NOT run on Windows XP Home Edition, Vista Home, or Windows 7 Home, or Win NT Server 4.0. The server requires a full version of 2003 Server or newer, SQL Server 2005 or newer. Small Business Server cannot be used as a Server Operating System.

DesertMicro is experienced with the current topology of network cards, hubs, and other network related items for a variety of network operating systems and configurations. DesertMicro can provide, configure and install any additional links necessary to provide additional network nodes. We offer On-Site network and hardware support from experts that are extensively experienced in PetrolManager applications.
